“For a river goes out from Eden,
to water the garden
and from there it divides,
becoming four branches." (Gen. 2:10)

The third river is called
Kehillah (sacred community).
This is the river of the heart-land.
Connecting, absorbing, sharing, caring, loving.

Ever winding, ever widening.
Time and tide waiting for all.

All who allow themselves
to be caught in her cross-currents
find freedom, joy,
and safe-harbor.
